The Kavalari Hotel is centrally located in Fira, the main town of Santorini, and more specifically the Kavalari hotel
is situated on the cliff of the Caldera and overlooks Santorini's world
famous volcano.
Originally a captain’s house, the property was converted over a period of
fifteen years. The traditional island architectural style of the Kavalari
has exterior stairways, which wind down the cliff to various flowered
terraces, designed for the exclusive enjoyment of the guests.
There are nineteen rooms at the Kavalari Hotel, all built directly into
the cliff. Each room has its own character, some resembling small caves.
All rooms have access to a terrace, where guests may enjoy tranquil
surroundings and spectacular sunsets. Rooms are decorated with traditional
furnishings and unique handicrafts from local Santorini artisans.
Each room includes private bath, hairdryer, air-conditioning, direct dial
phone, satellite TV, and mini fridge. The deluxe rooms also have
kitchenettes.
The Kavalari hotel is conveniently located, near the taxi and bus station,
the post office, banks, museums, Santorini's unique shopping, and a
variety of excellent restaurants.
The Kavalari hotel provides charming and delightful accommodations for the
traveler who wants something different, a place that is uncommonly
beautiful, while at the same time warm and inviting.
