Set in the heart of the old town of Nafplio,
above Constitution Square, the Ilion Hotel is housed within a
traditional building, which dates back 300 years and was once the
residential home of the Mayor of Nafplion. The luxurious Ilion hotel was
recently lovingly restored by its present owners Themistoklis and Mimi
Papaioannou, who have endeavoured to keep all the building's original and
traditional elements.
As well as offering exceptional hospitality, the Ilion Hotel combines a
unique feeling of sensuality and glamour with modern day comforts. Guests
at the Ilion can enjoy the air of Nafplio's glorious past without
compromising on the most modern of conveniences.
The Ilion hotel features ten suites furnished in a Renaissance style and
of unequalled elegance. The furniture and antiques in the suites are from
the owners' private collection. Each suite has its own colour scheme and
theme. Indeed with suite names such as Love and Soul and The Dreams and
the Nymphs, couples can not fail to have a romantic time here.
After an enjoyable day exploring the surroundings, guests can relax in
their own private Jacuzzi before heading out again for dinner. Breakfast
is served either in the room or the hotel's bistro in the garden, weather
permitting. Other facilities at the hotel include a hairdresser,
beautician and babysitter when requested.
Other facilities at the Ilion hotel include private gardens, 24-hour room
service, private butler service, photographer available on request,
Jacuzzi in all the suites and 15 function rooms with capacity for up to 35
people.
