The Homers Inn is a C class, 3 star hotel
situated between the village and the port of Ios. It only takes 5 minutes
to walk to the port and 10 minutes to the village. Furthermore there is a
bus stop outside the hotel. Buses to the Village, Port, Mylopotas beach
and Koumbara beach pass almost every 10 minutes.
Homers Inn has a breakfast lounge overlooking the port and a bar for an
afternoon drink. Most rooms have balcony and sea view. Safety deposit
boxes are provided for any valuable items. Rooms are cleaned daily and are
provided with hot water 24 hours a day.
The hotel has been refurbished many times, and recently all rooms were
equipped with direct dial phones and several with air conditioning.
Homers Inn also has a swimming pool and poolside bar. The pool is open
from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The pool bar is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00
p.m. In the pool bar you may have a drink or a snack and listen to some
cool music.
