DAY 1:
Your guided excursion to Delphi
begins with a courtesy collection in the morning, you'll then be
driven to Delphi going through the Veotia region. You'll pass
through Thebes and Levadia, and while travelling to the
sanctuary at Delphi, the professional tour guide will relate the
famous legends.
Passing through the picturesque village of Arachova, built on
the slopes of Mount Parnassus. You will arrive at Delphi, "the
Navel of the Earth". You will visit the Delphi Museum with the
famous bronze Charioteer, the statue of Antinoos, and the
athlete Aghias. As well as the Delphi museum, you'll
visit the
ancient Delphi sanctuary with its renowned ruins of the "Omphalos"
and feel the mystery surrounding the Temple of Apollo.
You are then free to spend the rest of the day exploring Delphi
at your own leisure.
Dinner and stay overnight in Delphi.
DAY 2:
In the Morning your are free
to stroll around the town and see more of Delphi before your
departure for Athens in the afternoon, arriving back in the city
at 19:00 when you will be returned to your hotel.

DAY
1:
With a courtesy collection and
morning departure from Athens, driving through Daphne and
Eleusis you'll pass over Corinth Canal, where you will have the
chance to see the famous canal (78-meters high, 24-meters wide,
6,343-meters long and 12 meters deep) that connects Mainland
Greece with the Peloponnese.
Continuing from the Corinth canal, you will arrive in Mycenae,
the legendary home of the Atreides that gave its name to
civilization, spread throughout the Greek world. You will visit
the well-known "Tomb of Agamemnon" and the "Lion’s Gate" that
forms part of the famous
Cyclopean Wall. After visiting Mycenae
you will depart for Nafplion, a beautiful town which was once
the capital of Greece.
Lunch in Nafplion and an afternoon of free time. Stay overnight
in Nafplion.
DAY
2:
Morning free to see more of the
picturesque town of Nafplion. After lunch you will leave for
Athens, but on our way back you'll visit Epidaurus and the
Sanctuary of Asklepios, home of the Theatre of Epidaurus, world
famous for its acoustics. Arrive in Athens in the evening.

Meteora

This excursion
features the Byzantine monasteries of Meteora with "free time"
in Delphi  |

DAY
1:
Your guided excursion to Meteora
begins with courtesy collection in the morning, you'll then
leave for
Delphi, driving through the region of Veotia and the
picturesque village of Arachova built on the slopes of Mount
Parnassus. After spending two hours at your own leisure in
Delphi, “the Navel of the Earth”, you'll then continue to
Kalambaka driving through the city of Lamia, and passing
numerous picturesque villages and small towns of Central Greece.
Eventually arriving in Kalambaka where you will stay overnight.
DAY
2:
After breakfast your Meteora
sightseeing excursion continues with your departure from
Kalambaka, you will then make your way to visit the well-known
Byzantine monasteries of Meteora, constructed on top of huge
rocks and which seem to be suspended in mid-air. In the
afternoon you'll leave Meteora and begin your return to Athens
journeying via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (visit the Leonida
Monument), and Kammena Vourla. Arriving back in Athens in the
evening.
