Car rental in Greece

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PLUS OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL SERVICES
FOR CAR RENTAL IN GREECE and THE GREEK ISLANDS

1. All prices quoted are in EURO.
    

2. All car rental types mentioned are sample models and are subject to change with a similar model.
    

3. DRIVERS QUALIFICATIONS. Driver's minimum age for car hire groups A, A1, B1, C, & D is 23 years. For all other car hire groups, 25 years. A valid drivers license must be held for at least one year prior to the commencement of the car rental period.
    

4. Greek Car rental rates are fully inclusive of the following:

1. Unlimited Mileage

2. Third Party Liability Insurance. Covers third party personal injuries up to 500.000 EURO and third party property damage up to 100.000 EURO.

3. Theft Waiver (TW). Covers the rented vehicle against total theft with a deductible amount of 300 EURO

4. Partial Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). Covers the rented vehicle for damage, irrelevantly of liability. (Deductible amounts apply, see item 5 below)

5. Partial Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) DOES NOT include the following deductible amounts:

1. The first 400 EURO of damage for car rental groups: A, A1, B1, C.

2. The first 600 EURO of damage for car rental groups: D, E, F, G, R, T.

3. The first 1100 EURO of damage for car rental groups: K, S

6. What is NOT included in the car rental rates:

1. Additional Drivers.

2. PAI (Personal Accident Insurance).

3. FDW (Full Damage Waiver).

4. FTW (Full Theft Waiver).

5. Baby seats and roof racks.

6. Gasoline and Tolls.

7. Traffic Fines.

8. Damage to tires, wheels, glass, inside and underneath of the car is not covered by ANY insurance.

7. Prices for optional extras:

1. Additional Drivers: 3 Euros per driver per day.

2. Baby seat:           4 Euros per day to a maximum charge of 30 EURO.

3. Snow Chains:       4 Euros per day to a maximum charge of 30 EURO.

4. PAI (Personal Accident Insurance):       3 Euros per day, covering the driver to a maximum of 14.673 Euros.

5. FTW (Full Theft Waiver) for all groups:  3 Euros per day. Covers the deductible amount that applies to the included TW (Theft Waiver).

6. FDW (Full Damage Waiver). Covers the deductible amount that applies to the included CDW (Partial Collision Damage Waiver)
        For car rental groups A, A1, B1, C:      6 Euros per day.
        For car rental groups D, E, F, G, R, T:  9 Euros per day.
        For car rental groups K, S:                15 Euros per day.

8. ACCIDENT ADMINISTRATION FEE: In cases of an accident, an administration fee of 30 EURO will be charged. This charge applies irrelevantly of party or fault.
    

9. The car rental rates include deliveries during office hours in Greece (07:30 to 21:00 daily). For each delivery or collection outside these hours an extra charge of 18 EURO is applicable.
    

10. Car rental delivery and collection is free of charge within designated city or town centre. A charge of 10 EURO may be applied for each collection or delivery outside the city or town centre, up to a distance of 20 km and 0,50 EURO per kilometre thereafter.
     

11. There is a 7% supplement to be added to the above car rental rates for collecting a rental car at Athens International Airport.
     

12. Car rentals beginning in one rental season and ending in another will be calculated according to the rate applicable at the start of the car rental period.
